In this role she established a US$100m corporate venture capital fund and implemented the world’s first mini-grid fuel cell power system for rural electrification in South Africa.
Kleantha also spent 4 years at Sasol Limited, where she was Assistant to the Chief Executive. Her portfolio included work across strategy, communications, investor relations and special projects. Before this, her management consulting career with McKinsey & Company consisted of projects undertaken in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and the UK. She worked primarily in the basic materials and beverages industries.
