We are pleased to announce that Jessy Moloto, Glencore Operations South Africa, is succeeding to Derek Baker, Tharisa Minerals, as the Chairperson of the ICDA South African ESG Committee.
Jessy Moloto is a firm believer in ethical and responsible production of resources that advance our everyday lives.
He is experienced in the Mining and Metals industry specifically in Coal and FerroAlloys. He holds a qualification in Mining Engineering and a certified Mine Manager.
His 14 years’ experience in the industry has made him a great leader in the field of Sustainable Development.
Some of his core skills include Fatality Prevention, Environmental Management, Risk Management, compliance, governance and also the Development and implementation of ESG Strategies.
He currently heads the Health, Safety and Environmental Department in Glencore Ferro Alloys, based in South Africa.
